After happening upon this piece by renowned Malian artist Abdoulaye Konate one would naturally expect – and hunger for – many more images of his work waiting on just the other side of an internet search. Alas, this seems not to be the case — though snippets of information do appear here, here – and here.

Appearances would indicate that Folksy is the British answer to Etsy. As such it’s yet another site to search for textile sundries, like this bit of upholstery fabric above.
