Textiles best capture my love for art, craft, history, and design. From the breathtakingly elaborate to the starkly refined, textiles are a medium with almost infinite cross-cultural range and depth. They also epitomize the simple human need for both beauty and comfort in daily life. Fibercopia is an ever evolving portfolio of the textiles that inspire me; I also hope it’s a site that’s interesting, informative and inspiring to you.
In 2005 I earned my Master’s degree in design history from Bard Graduate Center. I now live in San Francisco where I work as a senior designer at Fisher Weisman. I also write about textiles for Cover magazine.
