Titled “Undiscovered Wonders of the World”, the serene and dreamlike images become both more tangible and elusive when transferred to fabric. The Auction: On December 13th Phillips de Pury & Company will be auctioning a large wall-hanging (partially pictured above) created by master weaver Peter Collingwood in 1959. The estimated sale price of between $20,000 – $30,000 should be an inspiration to textile collectors everywhere.

The Sale: D. Bryant Archie, a purveyor of woven blankets and pillows, is offering a 30% discount on her entire stock (plus free standard shipping) through Wednesday night, 11/30. (Ending at midnight eastern standard time.)
